Paintings of desserts including blueberries in glass bowls and slices of cake with berries.

Using deconstructed garments from her own wardrobe and vintage collections, Caroline builds textured surfaces that are then embellished with expressive paint. Ribbons, lace, and fabrics, often sourced from her grandmother’s sewing box, appear throughout her work, connecting each piece to family, lineage, and lived experience. The process of taking garments apart and mending them again mirrors her belief in self-awareness, where inner and outer identities meet.

Deeply committed to art and community, Caroline’s work reflects a thoughtful balance of concept and craft. Her presence at The Hickory Post celebrates collaboration, individuality, and the belief that art has the power to define how we live within our spaces.

“I use deconstructed garments and textiles as the foundation of my work, combining fiber and paint to explore memory, identity, and the relationship between what we wear and who we are.”
